Kayode Yussuf

Director, Clubs and Networks

Kayode Yussuf is an open advocate and CEO of Securepoint Technologies Ltd. Kayode is Co-founder, Wikimedia Nigeria Usergroup, board member of the Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation, and African Representative on the Wikimedia 2030 Design team. He was the Chair, Membership Committee of the Creative Commons Global Network Council and he currently serves as on the Executive Committee on the Creative Commons Global Network Council. Kayode is an Atlas Corps Fellow. He loves adventurous travel and meeting new people.

Olushola Olaniyan

Community Director

He's an Experienced Media Strategist, Social Entrepreneur, and Google-certified Project Manager with over two decades of notable accomplishment in digital communication, capacity and community building, cross-sector partnership-building, and advocacy campaigns across public, private, and non-profit organizations. Expertise in personal and corporate brand management with high-level organizational and strategic leadership. An Open Knowledge Advocate, Wikimedia, and pioneer leader of the Wikimedia community in Nigeria with experience producing a regular radio program. An active contributor to other Wikipedia siblings like Meta-Wiki, Wiki data, Yoruba Wikipedia, and Outreach Wikipedia.

Olatunde Olalekan Isaac

DIRECTOR LEARNING AND EVALUATION

Olatunde Isaac is a Nigerian scientist, food safety specialist, open knowledge advocate and social entrepreneur. He’s a long-term Wikipedia editor and Wikimedia community manager in Nigeria.Isaac is a versatile personality whose works in the open movement, specifically on Wikipedia, have been extensively covered by national and international media and have received numerous accolades for his contributions. He is one of the most prolific contributors to Wikipedia in Africa, and in 2015, he founded Wikimedia User Group Nigeria (now a charitable organization in Nigeria) that focuses on promoting Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects in Nigeria. The organization focuses on promoting content relating to Nigeria in the digital space of the internet. Having realized that millions of articles on Wikipedia are lacking CC Licensed photos to illustrate them, Isaac launched an international campaign called "Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos Campaign" in 2020 to engage volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic by encouraging Wikipedia editors across the world to add images to Wikipedia articles lacking photos. This campaign has added photos to more than 300,000 Wikipedia articles in more than 270 languages

Ayokanmi Oyeyemi

Programs Director

Ayokanmi Oyeyemi is an experienced Wikipedia editor and trainer within the Wikimedia movement in Nigeria for over 6 years now. He is the Program Director for Wikimedia Nigeria - the official affiliate of Wikimedia in Nigeria, where he currently oversees the project management of the organization. As an experienced Wikipedia editor, he has authored scores of Nigerian articles on Wikipedia, and this has given him the opportunity to travel widely, organizing and facilitating various trainings around the world. Asides leading Wikimedia projects, he is also a professional photographer who specializes in commercial photography services. Ayokanmi earned a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, where he was a student leader, and a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is an alumnus of the World Innovation Summit for Education’s Executive Education Programme and a 2021 fellow of the Future Africa. He resides and work from Lagos, Nigeria
