Aside being the President, KWASU WIKIMEDIA FC, I also double as the pioneer President of my Faculty--- Faculty of Arts Students' Association, KWASU. As an individual, I am keen to attaining the peak in any environment I find myself.

Adamu Usman Garko

President of the Gombe State University Wikimedia Fan Club

Adamu Usman Garko is the President of the Gombe State University Wikimedia Fan Club, an arm of Wikimedia User Group Nigeria. He is a third-year law student of Gombe State University. He is also an official member of the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety, the UNESCO Global Youth Community, and is an awardee of the UN and WHO-funded Global Youth Mobilization. His articles and opinions have been published in newspapers such as Daily Trust, BluePrint, The Punch, and The Guardian Nigeria. His book "When Day Breaks" was recognized among the 18 best published books in Nigeria by Daily Trust in 2018 and recommended reading for 400 level English students at Gombe State University. In his leisure time, he contributes to Wikipedia and its sister projects, the largest encyclopedias of knowledge worldwide. He actively engages in onboarding young people into the digital space. He is also an advocate for open data, climate awareness, and gender equality. As a social accountability champion, he is a recipient of the MacArthur Foundation-funded REPORT A PROJECT award, a social accountability initiative of the Centre for Information Technology and Development. He ardently supports the global open knowledge movement and aims to establish a robust foundation for the Wikimedia Fan Club, Gombe State University as its pioneer leader.

is a 400l Political Science student of The university of Ibadan, she is the President for Wiki Fan Club The University of Ibadan. Outside academics, Aminat is a creative Fashion designer for the Female gender and also a Volunteer for Humanitarian services in the Health and Education sector.

Rukayat Ajeigbe is a freelancer and Wikimedian. She love volunteering which led her to contributing to Wikimedia projects. She is also passionate about promoting humanitarian activities through Livelihood Charity Foundation. Rukayat is the President of Osun Wikimedia Network an affiliate of Wikimedia User Group Nigeria.

Carolyn Seaman

Coordinator of the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria Abuja Network.

Carolyn Seaman is a lawyer with over 20 years’ experience advancing girls' and women’s rights. She is a Social Entrepreneur, Tech Evangelist, Filmmaker, Girl Expert, Founder and Creative Director of Girls Voices Initiative, a non-profit that educates and empowers girls and women to identify their voices to advocate for their rights; and to use technology and digital media to amplify their voices to wide audiences, particularly policymakers and other influencers. Carolyn is a TechWomen Fellow, Women Leader of the World Fellow, World Pulse Ambassador and Advanced Digital Changemaker. As an award-winning filmmaker, her films and documentaries have screened in over 23 film festivals, including the Africa International Human Rights Film Festival, African Women Arts & Film Festival, Toronto International Women’s Film Festivals, Los Angeles International Women’s Film Festival, and many others, and she is the creator and Festival Director of the Women’s International Film Festival Nigeria (WIFFEN). Representing her organization in a regional capacity, Carolyn is the Chair of the Pan African Alliance on Ending Child Marriage and she is a member of the Civil Society Organizations Reference Group to the African Union Campaign to End Child Marriage, she is a member of the Africa Action Group to End Child Marriage convened by Girls Not Brides, and at the national level, she is the Chair of the Coalition of Civil Society to End Child Marriage in Nigeria, President of the TechWomen Nigeria Alumni Association, and Coordinator of the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria Abuja Network.
